My project's goal is to bring back "music in the air" by encouraging solo and small group singing in the music classroom as well as singing to other students and faculty in the school. A portable karaoke machine would be helpful in giving the students the courage to do something that can be scary. The other items requested will support the learning of their music and theory associated with note reading. The materials will all work together in learning. And the kazoos will be used in a variety of ways to encourage some of the more reserved singers. The whiteboards can be used at home if students need to practice.
