One thing that I think my students really need help on, is reading more fluently and pacing themselves as they read. Often times we give students books and try to get them to read, but they operate much better if they actually have an Audiobook to accompany the reading materials. Specifically, I want to use physical books and audiobooks for three of the students on my caseload who are really struggling with increasing their love of reading and pacing themselves when they read. I believe that this will have a significant impact on the students I work with, because these books impacted me.
