Thank you for visiting our first grade page! As you can see, we love to have fun! My goal is to make EVERY lesson of EVERY day count! My students are like family to me, and all I want for them is success. I've been teaching for 30 years, and I've tried to keep in touch with as many former students as possible over the years. My number one goal is for my students to continue striving to be their best selves long after they have exited our first grade classroom doors. I believe in each of them, and I know that the impact I have on them, whether positive or negative, will stay with them as they maneuver through life's hurdles. I want to impact them as positively as possible! Teaching is not what I do, but rather, who I am. I'm so blessed to be in a profession where I am surrounded by precious people who want to learn. Life is good :).
