Wobble chairs, stools, and balance seats would be wonderful additions to my classroom! They would help get the children who need movement to be able to concentrate on a task at hand while at their table spots. Through flexible seating options, my students will be able to choose a seat that works for them to assist in balance, focus, and to get some the extra energy and movement out. I have read research that has shown how the use of flexible seating in the classroom assists with students focus, less disruption during class time, and helps with students learning. There are several classrooms in our district that use these seating options and children enjoy being able to choose what to sit on and have commented how these seats help them to focus.
