The Smart Board literacy and science activities are animated and engaging. They will allow my students to use and become familiar with technology in the classroom. During small group instruction, students will be able to navigate the interactive activities on the Smart Board with the help of an adult. It's an opportunity to reinforce alphabet knowledge, phonemic awareness, and increase vocabulary, which are all pre-reading skills. Our goal is to get every student in my class to read on or above grade level. Receiving the donated interactive materials will aid in achieving this goal. Additionally, the science and math interactive activities will give my students the opportunity to explore and make investigations about their environment.
