The variety of choices with these fantastic manipulatives will not only help my students focus but will also help them settle into being respectful listeners. Flexible seating has so many options- sitting, laying, slouching, etc. that it's easy to get comfy and lose focus of the real learning objectives for coming to school. Because these items are designed to be twisted, pulled, and squeezed, students can focus their need to manipulate through a positive outlet. They'll be thrilled with the options to choose a fidget item and still be able to move, but subtly, without distracting others. This is the perfect complement to flexible seating.
