Having the set of iPads mini's will allow for different structures of learning in my classroom. One way they will be used as a center. Students can look up pictures, listen to stories, create their own stories, and writings, match letters and sight words.I could download apps for various literacy activities for a literacy center, which would allow me to have activities for both my highest performing and most struggling students. My project will make a differnece in my students lives by introducing my students who are not familiar with technology. It will give them the stepping stones to be successfull, but it will also increase the skills my students who are familiar with technology already have. Our classrooms are not yet at the level technologically to meet their needs as learners. This grant will help to close that gap just a little bit more.My students could take off and become more successfull with 2 iPad mini's. These iPad mini's would greatly increase my students knowledge of the world.
