There are so many new interactive and science manipulating computer sites that are available for our brand-new sixth grade curriculum this year. I spent last summer taking classes, where I learned about all of these amazing resources. In order to be able to have the students use these fantastic resources, we need computers. I am hoping that we can get enough computers, so the students can manipulate these sites in small groups. I teach all of the science to our 105 sixth graders, during rotations, every day. One of our science units is all about the solar system, where there are about 10 different wonderful resources that I plan on using with all of the sixth graders.
