My class is starting a new business venture! As part of job training, we are starting a student-run coffee shop for students and faculty at the Advantage Academy campus. Students will make and sell coffee in a real-life work experience. They will learn to generalize skills to prepare them for post-graduation success. Our goal is to make our students independent, contributing members of society. This venture is about so much more than selling coffee. It is a chance for our students to socialize with others, take pride in their work and become contributing members of the student body. It is about giving these students a voice, a face, an identity as valued students. Please help us fill our cups!

About my class
