My students need these materials as an enjoyable way to individualize and show their learning. They are intrigued by new technology. I feel that this tool would extend concepts that we are working on in class, as well as build problem solving skills. They learn best when they are able to visualize and manipulate materials. I want to provide my students with a broad range of experiences in learning. With Osmo Numbers, I am able to reach the specific levels of all of my students. Some need more practice with addition and subtraction, while others are ready to be challenged with multiplication and division. This device will help reach those individual needs. With Osmo Words, my students will be able to make predictions and spell new words. To reach my English language learners, I will be able to introduce new vocabulary with a tool that is interesting for students to work with. Osmo Tangrams and Coding will be a high interest program to motivate students to increase their problem solving skills. This new technology will be a huge benefit to my students.
