In order to successfully integrate the cooperative learning model and increase student engagement, I will need enough classroom supplies to provide each group with a sufficient amount of items to complete various tasks. These supplies include but are not limited to, poster paper, markers, scissors, flashcards, laminating sheets, and colored paper. Cooperative learning gives students the opportunity to learn from each other and practice their communication skills in a low anxiety environment. By creating supplies that can be used by multiple students at the same time, I can ultimately cut back the amount of materials I actually use. If created properly, these materials can be made to be available for students for years to come
