These math and literacy learning materials will continue to enhance the learning environment that I strive to create in my classroom. My scholars learn best when they are able to manipulate materials. The math and literacy materials I have chosen are in direct alignment with the PA Standards. Literacy and math has the greatest impact to the growth and development of students' learning. Early literacy skills ignites creativity, sparks curiosity and stimulates the imagination of a young mind. Math is an important part of learning for young children because it provides vital life skills. By providing these materials, you will be an asset to the next Dr Seuss or Albert Einstein.
