Although most students' work (Lab Reports, Science projects, Peer Reviews, Graphic Organizers, and STEM fair projects) are in Google Classroom and Google Drive, we still need to print them out on a regular basis for various purposes. However, our shared printer is located about five minutes away walking back and forth, not to mention the down time waiting for other classrooms' printings to be done). Therefore, it is not convenient and unproductive for me or for the students to waste valuable classroom time just to run back and forth from our classroom to the shared printer's location for each print job while class in session. One, it is unnecessary time consuming. Two, it is not safe for me or for the students to leave the classroom unattended during class time. So a classroom printer will be the best solution to serve the purpose. I believe all student hard work should be celebrated on classroom's Wall of Fame so the whole world could enjoy and recognize them. With that said, for our safety and to achieve this goal, we need a classroom printer handy on a regular basis so we could print out student work on the spot without interferences with other departmental printings.
