Our students are recently arrived immigrant youth from the Caribbean, Latin America, West Africa and the Middle East. Each of our students has experienced challenges and deserves the opportunity to access the American educational system to its fullest capacity. All of our students are hardworking, dedicated individuals attending a unique public high school where they have the opportunity to learn English through content area instruction. Many of them are the first in their family to apply to college and all of them are the first in their family to apply to college in the United States. Our students are excited to apply to college but need support in creating their college essays.
