My class is full of amazing third graders who love to read, write and work hard at math. We also love learning about STEM! Fernan STEM Academy is a unique school. We are a neighborhood school that focuses on STEM learning. Some researchers say that students decide their relationship to math and science by age 8! We work to make sure every student has positive experiences in STEM. Over half of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch. It is important that we create experiences to enrich our students' lives.
