I am hoping to attend a conference centered around using the PROMPT approach to increase outcomes for students who have severe articulation needs. PROMPT is an multidimensional approach that integrates the multiple aspects of speech production (motor, cognitive-linguistic, social-emotional) in order to increase intelligible speech in children. Attending the PROMPT conference will increase my depth of knowledge when I consider different treatment approaches. This will be an intensive 3-day conference where we will receive specialized and explicit instructions on these research based techniques. This conference will provide me the knowledge to create more efficient and individual therapy plans, and to maximize the growth and potential of my students. Thank you for your support!
