My students need resources to help them develop independence and ownership of their learning. Our goal is to develop our students into avid readers and writers. Our student population is 65% low socioeconomic, about 52% hispanic, 46% white, and 2% other. It is important that we help our students become independent critical thinkers to help break the poverty cycle. Watching my students work hard to develop their skills is an absolute joy!
