Many of my students bring masks from home, but some students do show up to school without a mask. It is essential that every student is protected regardless of their family's ability to provide a mask every single day. Having wiggly first graders, some masks break throughout the day and we have to be prepared for that. Additionally, some of my first grade students show up wearing an adult mask. I would love to be able to provide them with a mask their size. Having a well-fitting child's mask will keep them, their teachers, and their classmates even safer.
