I teach 6th grade Social Studies and English Language Arts in a fast growing community, due to many businesses moving in close by. My school is in a diverse community and is represented by many different cultures, Around 50% of our children qualify and receive free or reduced-priced lunch, which means many of our children live in poverty. Regardless of these conditions, my students come to school ready to learn. They know they will receive the same quality education and all be on an equal educational field. They know they will be safe and loved while in my care. These students deserve to be given their best chance at an education!
