By donating the Kindle Fires and headphones to my classroom they will be put to use in many ways. Due to lack of technology resources in the classroom, having the use of the Kindle Fires in my classroom will be extremely beneficial. The students will be able to work independently with the tablets to help increase their academic performance. Most of my students are kinesthetic/visual learners which means they need a lot of manipulatives to fully understand reading and math concepts. The use of the tablets will engage my students in various reading and math activities to ensure they are mastering different concepts. Our school provides us with the Connect Ed McGraw-Hill curriculum which allows students to Login to individual accounts to work on skills personalized to each student's needs. The tablets will allow the students to work on specific skills based on their individual needs to increase student performance. The tablets will also be used for different reading and math game apps!
