These students will allow me to more easily organize and differentiate for their speaking and writing centers. Not all students will require the same scaffolds and strategies to reinforce learning standards. Each child will have their own bin and I will be able to place their differentiated work in their bin when we are working in Language Arts small group centers. The writing journals help keep all their work product in one place. It allows me to see progress for all independent writing. For the speaking centers, the students will be asked to record their thoughts before they attempt their writing. The journals will be used to write after they have recorded their responses.
