We live in a high poverty area and many students don't have needed supplies for class work and activities. In my classroom I try to keep their interest and increase their learning by doing interactive notes and as many hands on activities as we can. Students learn more and retain more by doing, not by just hearing. We need a range of basic supplies from pencils and a pencil sharpener to take notes in class as well as dry erase markers for our individual white boards and to do class activities and poster tack and sheet protectors to display our work. Please help us get these basic much needed supplies we need for taking interactive class notes, class activities, creative projects, and to display our work.
