The materials I requested will help my students learn their sight words more effectively. Sight words are important when learning to read and help the students build fluency. Sight words help emerging readers gain the confidence to become successful readers. Learning sight words requires practice and memorization. By incorporating a multi-sensory approach, I am targeting all learners. Playdough and play sand can help my tactile learners while the puzzles and floor mats can help kinesthetic learners. Songs from the DVD can help auditory learners. The various materials included in this project will help me keep them engaged and motivated. We need sight word puzzles too.
