My students will benefit greatly from increased technology in the classroom. iPads would enable my students to thrive in all subject areas. I would love to make iPads available to students for reading practice each day with the use of engaging reading websites and apps that can only be accessed through ios devices. My students would also use iPads each day to practice math facts and play interactive math games. Our class would also use the iPads throughout the year, to do research for writing, science, and social studies. It is my goal to create self-motivated learners. I would love to have students use the iPads to create digital portfolios of their work throughout the year, to showcase and reflect on what they have learned.
