Let's face it, chairs aren’t comfortable for seven hours a day. As a result, I have been conducting research on the effectiveness of flexible seating. My classroom needs what is best for students. Having the flexibility to move around while working and be comfortable at the same time is important for my students to stay focused. Having exercise balls, stools, comfy chairs, lowered tables with rugs will allow them to move but, also stay focused. This will optimize students time learning and minimize their breaks. Flexible seating will increase on task behavior and deplete excess energy. Please help me get my students the seating they need. Thank You!
