I'm at a school with students from a wide range of economic and social backgrounds which causes a huge imbalance of technology and information access. Additionally, my school is a magnet school for students with autism, and I have a large special needs population with many students on IEPs who require access to differentiated technological aides. Unfortunately, many of the district students and their families are unable to provide the technology that their students need to keep up with their peers. With no funds available from the district or state, my students are hoping that Donors Choose can help us get the technology they so desperately need and deserve. We need help becoming more tech savvy. With more technology in our class we would have the possibility for full and equal access to amazing differentiated content, digital strategies, apps, websites, and programs like Google Classroom.
