It's its own distraction, and, consequently, it can be difficult to motivate students. The controllers have been a huge help where this is concerned. Students can use the controllers only if their grades are a B or an A. In response, students have buckled down to get their assignments done, including building a marketing plan for a video game. Students are more engaged not just in the gaming aspect of the class, but also the academic. \r\n\r\nMy students were thrilled to have the controllers. While some students brought one in from home, not every student can afford the expense of a controller. The ones provided through your generosity have helped create a more inclusive environment.
