Technology is becoming more and more apart of our daily lives. Children love playing on the computer and playing video games and I want to be able to integrate this into our classroom environment. During workstation time, computer is the one station they fight over each day! We have 4 computers in the classroom, but they are rarely all working at the same time. Having these requested iPads would give more students the opportunity to use technology daily! My students are FULL of energy and I am always wanting/willing to find something new to keep them engaged. Kids in this generation are fully engaged when they are playing video games and watching TV, so why not use technology to keep them engaged in their learning as well? I would love to have these iPads to use for independent workstations in reading and math. I would also be able to allow for more independent research opportunities with technology being more accessible.
