It is important to us that every student is learning and engaged. Our school is the only k-12 full inclusion. ALL students are included in one classroom. The students are all unique: some are gifted, some have physical disabilities, others learning disabilities, and others social emotional. They are all normal kids who deserve to be handed material that is easy to look at and fun to do. Many of our students struggle to read or write at grade level and require visuals to support them. The black and white visuals are hard to see, photocopy terribly, and are less valuable than the color. The color printer will also allow us to post the vocabulary definitions and visuals to go with them on the walls for each unit. We also have a few vision impaired students who see better with higher contrast. This only begins to explain how valuable ongoing color printing could be!
