The books in this project will be used to reinforce my students' interest in reading. They are trying to branch out and read new books and authors, but resources are very limited. While I did inherit about 100 books when I moved into my new classroom at a new school, most of them are copyright pre 1980. While I don't necessarily mind, the books aren't overly appealing to my students who were born post-2000s. Diving into a new book allows for the imagination to come to life. Without reading new books and authors this world would be a dull, colorless place. By receiving these new books, the world can become bright once again!
