I'd like to add more books into my classroom so that students have access to diverse literature. First grade is really where they begin to grow as readers. I know the addition of new books will help spark and grow their love for reading! These books will be a great addition to my classroom library. The leveled readers will allow me to work with students in small groups on reading. And give them the one on one attention to help them be better students. Students in first grade develop foundational reading skills that will aide in their lifelong formal, as well as personal, educational experience. I look forward to using these books to help prepare my students for their future the best I can.
