Everyone has the images that help them activate prior knowledge. Most of us can use our experiences to remember what we have learned. I will use color images to help students in all subjects in school. I need a math vocabulary wall with color images of definitions and pictures. I need a word wall for language arts that has color images along with the definitions. I will use images to help them better understand stories by activating prior knowledge. These images can be on the computer but once the computer is turned off, the images go with them. Help me keep the images I use within the classroom available for students to access at all times! It is expensive to print in color. At the library copies cost $1 each page. Printing with an inkjet printer the colors fade as the ink is running out. With a laser printer and toner, I will be able to make all the color copies I need all year to keep the students prior knowledge fresh and to convert their new learning into long term memory.
