The computers we have assigned to our room are too old to work with many current websites we are using to supplement our learning. Many of my students' parents work long hours or 3rd shift, and that makes it hard to communicate and share what is happening at school with them. I would love to have 4 iPads for our classroom so we can utilize academic programs online and bridge the communication gap between school and home. Students will use the iPads to access academic content on Flocabulary, Book Flix, Kahoot and Class Dojo. They will be able to use videos, lessons and quizzes on apps that have material at their individual learning level. We will use these iPads to document our learning and to create photos, videos, songs and raps to share our learning. Students will also be able to create individual portfolios and share the work we are doing at school with other people in their lives.
