These materials will be used to reinforce the skills students will be learning about as part of the 5th grade curriculum. Scholastic Storyworks will allow my students to practice their reading skills using text that they are able to relate to in a student friendly way. Students will enjoy reading these engaging stories and will be more enthusiastic about the idea of reading and writing in general. These magazines will allow students to learn at their own level and pace as the activities and text can be differentiated for the SPED students and English Language Learners in my class.
