My students will gain great experiences as they explore sustainability practices during outside time in the Garden Warrior's Area. While outside they will use a water hose, wildflower seeds, a butterfly kit, planters and irrigation tools. Our students will use these materials provided by the funding for them to create their Pollinator Friendly Garden! The planting of seeds and watering them are activities children have been known to enjoy. The pollinator garden will enhance their experiences to learn about pollinators, ecosystems and environmental practices that they will be able to use throughout their lives. Learning how bees and other pollinators contribute to the survival of all living organisms will help them to be able to connect their thinking to global, environmental issues to help them be better "Earth Savers!" Your generous donation to our Garden Warriors's Pollinator Friendly Garden project will improve Pre-K to 3rd graders' hands on experiences while having fun learning! This project will certainly assist them in growing up to be "Sustainers the Earth!"
