The majority of our ELL students are visual learners. I intend to include strategies to teach reading and writing with color. As they learn the sentence structure, they will underline the parts of the sentence in different colors and be able to design their own art for their stories. At the end of the project they are going to have a beautiful masterpiece created to remember for a lifetime. ELL students spends a lot of time creating, and we would love to be able to print out our work. As a parent, I know how much those early art projects mean as I look back over the years. In these incredibly difficult times, can you imagine not being able to hang your work lovingly on your family's refrigerator or walls?
