Each week, my students produce the new show for their school. We interview students and teachers, have interactive game shows, produce a weather segment, and really anything they come up with that they can produce. We have a green screen panel and video cameras. The students do all the pre work, but when it comes to editing, we fall short. There are many editing software programs that are available the support the use of our green screen. However, we do not have any computers that can support the editing software so we cannot incorporate choma key editing. I would like to have my student's really reach their potential when it comes to editing, and new computers will help me do that. With the new computers, the students will have access to the latest editing software. They will be better prepared for high school and college if they wish to pursue editing as a career or hobby.
