Help Hawaii's children harness the power of the sun! Hello, I am the 5th and 6th grade Math/Science teacher in a school in Hawaii. My school teaches a collection of behaviors consistently used by successful members of society, as uncovered by research. Our focus is to create classroom situations where students must collaborate, persist, and creatively solve problems. This approach is especially important for our high poverty student population, who may not get such opportunities at home.
