Students will use STEM kits to help strengthen 21st Century Skills. They will work collaboratively with one another to plan, create and test out different structures or creations. With some of the kits being fairy tale themed, it will allow students to make a literature to STEM connection! For example, students will have a kit that has them build a house for the 3 Little Pigs and test its strength by huffing and puffing on them! These kits will also build upon teamwork skills. Students will strengthen how they interact with their peers by putting their ideas together, creating together and working through trial and errors together. Students will be able to utilize different skills through the use of this STEM bundle. The skills include coding, connecting to real- life situations through force and motion of objects and requiring the students to use higher-order thinking when completing the tasks within the kits!
