My students need 21 more exercise balls to complete our classroom. When replacing chairs with exercise balls we hope that the students will become more alert members of their classroom. Recently I've struggled with a student who didn't get much sleep and struggled being alert in the classroom. Once I gave him an exercise ball to sit on he became a completely different student! He was alert, participating, and became an active student in class discussions. My goal is to replace classroom chairs with exercise balls so my students will be able to become more alert members of the classroom.
