I am a fourth-grade teacher at a diverse school in Queens. Approximately 98% of our students receive free lunch. The majority of the students in our school test below grade level. They are sweet children who, despite their disabilities, are motivated and eager to learn. Their goal (and mine) is to reach their full potential and test successfully at their grade level.
