Many of my students come in the first day of school with nothing. No folders, no pencils, no supplies. My goal with this grant is to stock my shelves for those kids. We use folders for each section in my consumable textbook, so the folders provide a place to store those pages. Without them, the students end up crushing the pages in the bottom of a backpack or losing them all together. The glue sticks, markers and pencils will be used in my class for daily task in our interactive notebooks. I use many foldables and science doodles for my teaching strategies and these items make it so everyone has the right tools for the job!
