My students live in a high poverty area in Maryland and attend a public middle school committed to providing an excellent education for all of its students. Every day I am lucky enough to teach four classes of energetic eighth graders who are fascinated by science experiments, projects, and interactive lectures. My students are eager to learn as much as they can about Newton's three laws, electricity, thermodynamics, and chemistry.
