This project consists of providing Spanish classes with a Spanish library of books, ranging from 1st to 5th grade readers for Spanish classes. Books will be used to provide reading material for high school and elementary classrooms in Spanish 1, 2, and 3 classes, with the specific goal of allowing for sustained silent reading in Spanish. Books will be donated to classes where students are learning Spanish, either in the traditional track or for Dual language immersion. Our Latinos in Action class is a community service organization led by bilingual and bicultural students. They wish to instill a love for the written word for students of all Spanish learning levels.
