The file folder holders, magnets, bookshelves, and picture frames will help make our classroom a cozy and comfortable place for the students to come and learn. The table will be another place in the classroom they can do activities and work with their partners. It will also be a great reading spot. The Tenzi game will be available for students to play as a fast finisher or if they have an inside recess. The books will all be put into our class library and our stories the class love. They are all great readers and will love to be able to have copies of them to check out. Reading is so important and I would love to have these books especially for children who can't afford them themselves or aren't able to go to the library at this time due to COVID-19. The lenses, penlights, globe, and mirrors will all be used for our science lessons to help the students learn more about light waves and how they travel, and also how the Earth is able to see different constellations at different times of the year. Having these resources will help make learning more fun and engaging for my students. The dry erase markers, erasers, ink refill, and post-it notes will be used to help students to show what they know through whiteboard responses and posting flags on evidence in their reading to support their answers. They'll be able to use the erasers to erase mistakes and I can use the ink to refill stamps to keep parents informed when checking planners or stamping student papers which is a huge help in light of COVID-19 so that the parents and I can stay on the same page even when students are gone due to pandemic.
