These iPads will help some students communicate as well as engage in learning in our classroom. I currently use my personal iPad to help with mastering goals with learning apps and is used as an incentive. I have read multiple articles about how iPads have helped students grow in the areas of communication, social skills, and with academics. Students enjoy multimedia presentations of the weekly skill and enjoy showing their understanding of the lesson with the iPad. Please help me achieve our goal with helping both nonverbal and verbal ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) students in the 2nd -3rd grade. I appreciate your time and consideration.
