My students are always more engaged during STEM projects, so using a drone in science class will be very exciting! The possibilities for learning are endless. As part of a Life Science unit, the drone will allow us to use coding, science, technology, engineering, math, and art to learn about all things involved in living systems. Our first project would be to create parts of the cell using art supplies and craft the inside of a cell. Outside, the students will arrange themselves as a plant and animal cell. We will use the drone to take aerial photographs. My students will be fully engaged and likely never forget the lesson!
