We would like for the girls to read the book Michelle Obama: A life. It is our hope that reading the biography about our First Lady's experiences in her life while on her the road to the White House as our first African-American First Lady will inspire our girls to strive for success in their lives and a positive productive future. We believe that reading this book about our First Lady will help our girls see that it is possible to be a successful Afro-American woman. Our goal for the girls to write a letter to Mrs. Obama telling her how motivating and inspiring her story was to them.
