We are doing a 30 book challenge where students are required to read a variety of genres in the hope that everyone can find something they enjoy reading and to be exposed to different types of books. In addition to this challenge, we will also hold book clubs. Small groups will read the same book and have weekly discussions about it, present their opinions to the class about the book and re-enact a favorite scene from the book. Having a variety of books will enable my students to get excited about completing the challenge and participate in different reading groups throughout the year. Your donation will go a long way towards our class goals and helping this first year teacher build a library any student would get excited about!
