I love creating a welcoming and beautiful classroom for my students! I enjoy giving them options for seating, workspaces for collaboration, and taking our lessons outside. The materials that I am asking for will help me do this! My students and I have been using the same classroom furniture for several years (up to 8 years!), and it's time for some of it to be replaced! My current bookshelves are rickety, so I am asking for sturdier bookshelves. My current camp chairs and plastic stools are falling apart, so the short metal stools will be great replacements. The tall tables and stools will give my students collaborative seating options and help them better see instruction from the back of the classroom. The table will serve as my desk and allow me to better meet with students individually because of its large top. The benches will help us take our learning outside by providing seating right outside of our classroom. The lamps will help create a warm, homey environment, especially on cloudy or rainy days. The class set of atlases will be a huge help since I am teaching geography for the 1st time next school year! Thank you for helping me create a beautiful and welcoming space for my students, a true home sweet classroom!
